The 31st century (Gregorian Calendar) comprises the years 3001-3100.
- The TV show Futurama mainly takes place in the first years of the 31st century, (3000-3006) The show was also made by 30th Century Fox. In this series the head of Richard M Nixon wins the planetary election of 3000 and becomes president of Earth. He pursues an aggressive policy of worthless wars and corrupt tax rebates.
- 3001: The Final Odyssey, the latest novel in Arthur C. Clarke's Space Odyssey series takes place in 3001.
- The next movie by director Mike Judge (Creator of the animated series King of the Hill, Beavis and Butthead, and the pop-culture phenomenon Office Space), dubbed 3001, takes place in a dismal 31st century almost entirely devoid of intelligent thought.
- Preludio para el aņo 3001 is a tango by Astor Piazzolla with lyrics by Horacio Ferrer.
- The Fox Home Entertainment movie Titan A.E. takes place in the early 31st Century.
- The future M.E.G.A.S. of the animated series Megas XLR and her captor and remodeller are from this century.
- In Star Trek: Enterprise, one of the factions involved in the Temporal Cold War is from the 31st Century.
- DC Comics' Legion of Super-Heroes titles are set 1000 years after "the present day", meaning that more recent stories are set in the 31st century.
- Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Dan the Automator, and Kid Koala produced the high-concept hip-hop album Deltron 3030, a story of corporate destruction and love lost in a post-apocalyptic 31st-century universe.
