AMD K6

The AMD K6 is a Pentium-class microprocessor, manufactured by AMD, which superseded the K5. The AMD K6 is based on the Nx686 microprocessor that NexGen was designing when it was acquired by AMD. The K6 is available in two different cores with 166, 200, 233, 266 and 300Mhz. Later versions were the K6-2 (up to 550 MHz) and the K6-III.
