Biblical Hebrew language

The Biblical Hebrew language is the ancient form of the Hebrew language as spoken by the Israelites, in which the Hebrew Bible was originally written. Its preserved descendants are the Samaritan Hebrew language and the various Jewish dialects of Hebrew.
