Cross Examination Debate Association

Cross Examination Debate Association (CEDA) is an intercollegiate debate association. It was founded in 1971 as the Southwest Cross Examination Debate Association. Originally begun as a split from the National Debate Tournament (NDT), CEDA has reunified to where they cooperate with NDT and the American Debate Association to have a joint topic for the school year. CEDA typically uses a Policy Debate format.
Emory University won the 2004 CEDA National Tournament in a 9-0 decision.
