Eastern Latin America

From open-encyclopedia.com - the free encyclopedia.

Eastern Latin America is a region of South America. It consists of the following nations: Brazil and Uruguay

Some of these nations are in different regions though. Brazil is sometimes hinted as being a Central South American country, as well as Bolivia and Paraguay, while Uruguay is in the southern part of the continent.

Another definition of this term is any South American country that borders the Atlantic Ocean. So, this would include the Guyanian nations of Suriname, Guyana and French Guiana, which is a dependency. Brazil and Uruguay would be East Latin, and so would Chile.
