Freund's Complete Adjuvant

Freunds' adjuvant is a very potent immuopotentiator. It has been in use for animal models for a long time, but has never been permitted for human use because of the toxicities associated with it. It is an oil in water emulsion containing micobacterial proteins. This same adjuvant but without mycobacterial components is called incomplete Freund's adjuvant.
