甘, or Gān, is an abbreviation for the Gansu province of the People's Republic of China.

赣, or Gàn, is an abbreviation for the Jiangxi province of the People's Republic of China.

Gan is also a port in the Maldives.

Gan is also a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques département in France.
