Grant Hill (politician)

The Honourable Dr. Grant Hill, PC was a Canadian Member of Parliament for the Conservative Party of Canada from 1993 to 2004.

From January to March 2004, he served as interim leader of the Official Opposition in the House of Commons. However, he was not the party's official interim leader -- that role went to Senator John Lynch-Staunton.

Hill was first elected as an MP for the Reform Party of Canada in the 1993 general election. He joined the Canadian Alliance when the Reform Party's successor was formed in 2000 he joined In 2002, he was a candidate in the Canadian Alliance leadership election, placing fourth.

Hill did not run in the 2004 election.
