Information management

Information management is the handling of knowledge acquired by one or many disparate sources in a way that optimizes access by all who have a share in that knowledge or a right to that knowledge.

Also, a euphemism for the manipulation of information (often in a political arena, or for political ends) for the purpose of influencing public opinion towards a certain point of view. Known as spin since the early-1980s.
