James Jackson

James Jackson (1757–1806) was a politician in the United States Democratic Party. He was a U.S. Senator from Georgia from 1793 to 1795, and was Governor of Georgia from 1798 to 1801. He then returned to the Senate, serving from 1801 until his death. He was also a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
