Joseph McGrath

Joseph McGrath (1887-1966) was a senior Irish politician. He was first elected in 1918 as a Sinn Féin TD and was present at the formation of the 1st Dáil Éireann. He served as Minister for Labour in the 2nd Dáil and the Provisional Government of the Irish Free State. He also served in the 1st and 2nd Executive Councils holding the Industry & Commerce portfolio. McGrath retired from political life in 1924.
