Liar's Poker is a non-fiction, autobiographical book by Michael Lewis.
The book describes the author's experiences as a bond trader in the prestigious Wall Street firm of Salomon Brothers during the 1980s. In doing so he gives a candid, and not entirely flattering, portrait of the firm's culture, its personalities, and the trader culture as a whole.
