Madeley is a district of Telford, in Shropshire. It is a former mining village serving the now defunct Kemberton Colliery. Its main claim to fame is a barn in which King Charles I hid during the English Civil War.
There is another Madeley in Staffordshire, near the M6 motorway about 5 miles west of Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Madeley is also a suburb of Perth, Western Australia.
