Michael Keaton, (born September 9 or September 5, 1951 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania) is an American actor.
Keaton was born in an Irish Catholic family of 7 kids.
Keaton's real name is Michael John Douglas, but he could not use his real last name professionally because it would have been too similar to Mike Douglas and Michael Douglas (the son of Kirk Douglas). He picked "Keaton" after Diane Keaton, though the two had never met.
Keaton is known for his work in films such as Batman, Beetlejuice, and Multiplicity.
