Molenbeek-Saint-Jean within the Brussels-Capital Region
Molenbeek-Saint-Jean (French) or Sint-Jans-Molenbeek (Dutch) is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium.
On 1 January, 2004 the municipality had a total population of 78,087 (38,564 males and 39,523 females). The total area is 5.89 km² which gives a population density of 13,253.50 inhabitants per km².
