Moonstruck is a 1987 romantic comedy film which tells the story of a woman who falls in love with her fiance's brother. It stars Cher, Nicolas Cage, Vincent Gardenia, Olympia Dukakis, Danny Aiello, Julie Bovasso and John Mahoney.

The movie was written by John Patrick Shanley and directed by Norman Jewison.

It won Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role (Cher), Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Olympia Dukakis) and Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen. It was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Vincent Gardenia), Best Director and Best Picture.
