Panchayat

Panchayat is a body of elected representatives of village.There is a head member called 'Sarpanch' ,other memebers are called 'Panch'es. They act as conduit between the local government and people.All decisions are taken by majotiy called 'Bahumat'.Their decisions are generally welcomed.
