Paychex, Inc. (NASDAQ: PAYX) is a national provider of payroll, human resource, and benefits outsourcing solutions for business. Paychex's core client is the small- to medium-sized company, but Paychex also meets the special needs of larger businesses with its Major Market Services. Paychex, founded in 1971, is headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., and today has more than 100 locations around the United States, serving clients nationwide. In fiscal 2003, Paychex generated nearly $1.1 billion in service revenue, and employed more than 8,800 persons. The founder, chairman, president and CEO is B. Thomas Golisano.
