Pearlette Louisy

Dame Calliopa Pearlette Louisy (born 21st October 1946) is the Governor-General of St. Lucia. She is the first woman to hold this office, which she was sworn into on September 19, 1997. She studied languages and linguistics at the University of the West Indies and the University of Lavel.
