Peter Gruner

Peter Gruner (born May 11, 1974 in Allentown, Pennsylvania) is a professional wrestler on the World Wrestling Entertainment's Smackdown! Brand, best known by his stage name of Billy Kidman. He is also currently married in real life to WWE diva Torrie Wilson.

Career

Kidman gained fame in WCW as a key member of several strong factions. In addition to being a member of Raven's Flock, Kidman was also a member of the Filthy Animals and later the New Blood. As a member of these groups, Kidman participated in memorable rivalries with top names in WCW, including Rey Mysterio, Hulk Hogan and Jeff Jarrett.

When WWE purchased WCW, Kidman was among the first to join WWE and his impact on the cruiserweight division was immediate, as he won the Cruiserweight Championship in July 2001. Overall, Kidman has been a Cruiserweight Champion on several occasions and is always considered a top contender for the title.
