The Peugeot 307 is a car produced by Peugeot, launched in 2001 to succeed the 306. The Peugeot 307's predecessor, the 306, was the best selling Peugeot in Britain during its eight-year production life (1993 to 2001). The 307 is a totally different car to the 306, with improved styling and refinement, as well as being more spacious. The 307 was voted European Car of the Year for 2002.

When the 307 was launched, it was sold as a three and five-door hatchback. 2002 saw the launch of a mini MPV (the 307 SW) and an estate. The 307CC is a coupe-cabriolet with a folding steel roof.

The Peugeot 307 replaced the very successful 206 in World Rally Championship racing in 2004. The vehicle, nicknamed "The Flying Frog," is based on the coupe-cabriolet model. So far, the vehicle has been plagued by technical problems and has only begun to come into its element in competition.
