Recce

Recce (pronounced 'rek-ee') is a British and South African military abbreviation for reconnaissance.

Examples:

  • Recce patrol
  • Recce group
  • Go out on a recce

US forces use the abbreviation 'recon'.

A South African Special Forces soldier is also known as a Recce.
