Road Rash is a motorcycle-based video game developed by Electronic Arts for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive in 1991, with later versions available for a variety other platforms.

The game is presented as a third-person view, similar to Hang On, in which the player is a competitor in a series of illegal motorcycle street races across the US. Players had to avoid on-coming traffic, a variety of obstacles, and the police, while racing.

Controversially, players had the ability to punch, kick, and use a variety weapons to unseat their opponents, and cops, mid-race.

The original Genesis version featured a Rob Hubbard soundtrack, however later versions released on CD formats featured music tracks from bands such as Soundgarden, Swervedriver, and Therapy?.
