Romeo Must Die (2000) is an American film directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak and starring Aaliyah, DMX and Jet Li.
Plot outline
Han Sing (Li) has taken the fall for his father and brother and gone to prison in Hong Kong while his family escaped to the United States. When Sing hears his brother was killed by a rival mob, he escapes from the prison and makes his way to San Francisco to seek revenge. There he meets and falls in love with Trish (Aaliyah), the rival mob bosses' daughter.
