Rose Mary Woods (born December 26, 1917) was the secretary to Richard Nixon during the Watergate scandal. On November 21, 1973 it was revealed that she had erased a crucial 18 1/2 minute-long section from one of the Nixon tapes. She claimed it was an accident, but to this day few believe her.
