Taxi may mean:

- A water taxi is a small boat that transports passengers on water.
- A verb describing the movement of an aircraft on the ground. Usually this is between runways, or between a hangar or terminal and a runway. The paved surfaces on which aircraft taxi are called taxiways.
- An Australian exclamation, normally heard in pubs, clubs and bars following an act of discoordination (i.e. spilling drinks or breaking glasses). Suggesting that the uncoordinated party should probably be put in a taxi and sent home immediately.
The word taxi arose as short for "taximeter", which was made from French taxe = "price" and Greek metron = "measure".
