Telangana Rashtra Samithi

Telangana Rashtra Samithi is a regional political party in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Its main agenda is for the creation of a separate state of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh. The founder and party chief is K. Chandrashekar Rao is a member of the United Progressive Alliance (Coalition Government led by Indian National Congress). He is the Minister of Shipping in Dr. Manmohan Singh cabinet.
