Telkom

Telkom is a telecommunications monopoly in South Africa. Telkom is a semi-privatised, majority Government-owned dual-listed company. Telkom provides ADSL to subscribers with a 3GB cap, port prioritization and bandwidth shaping and a R100 line rental, excluding ISP fees. They have been managed by US-based SBC for the past 6 years. SBC has now sold their shares.
