The book "The Secret Doctrine, the Synthesis of Science, Religion and Philosophy", originally published as two volumes in 1888, is Madame Blavatsky's magnum opus. It covers cosmic, planetary, and human evolution, as well as science, religion, and mythology. It is based on the Stanzas of Dzyan, with corroborating testimony from about 1,200 sources. It is a seminal book of esoteric knowledge in the modern age.
