University of Missouri

The University of Missouri System is one of two public state university systems. There are several campuses in the system, including:
- University of Missouri - Columbia - the main campus
- University of Missouri - Kansas City
- University of Missouri - Rolla - engineering and computer science
- University of Missouri - St. Louis
History
The University of Missouri system was established in 1963 with the already existing Columbia campus. A private university in Kansas City, the School of Mines in Rolla and a new campus in St. Louis were added to make the four campuses today.
