Westwood One, Inc. (NYSE:WON) is the largest radio network in the United States. It is based in the city of New York, and it is managed by Infinity Broadcasting, the radio arm of Viacom.
The company is one of the largest producers and distributors of radio programming in the US. It broadcasts entertainment, news, weather, sports, talk, and traffic programming to about 7,700 radio stations; its commentators include Martha Stewart, Dan Rather, and Don Imus. It also produces concerts and events, and broadcasts college football and NHL hockey games. The company is the US's top provider of local traffic reports.
Westwood One could be considered partially a descendent of the Mutual Broadcasting System, after Mutual's purchase by Infinity.
