WikiGremlin

A WikiGremlin is a variant of of the Internet troll, and carries out vandalism on wiki pages. WikiGremlin vandalism is usually sneaky, and often funny, but is nevertheless vandalism and ultimately destructive to the wiki. Examples include adding inappropriate categories to articles, altering punctuation to change meaning, inserting parentheticals to mock the subject or other writers, and deleting content they dislike.
WikiGremlin-like behavior is generally prohibited, or at least looked down upon, by most wiki users. The opposite types of Wiki user from the WikiGremlins are the WikiGnomes, Housekeeping Zombies and WikiFairies.
