William Jerome

William Jerome (1865 - 1932) was a United States songwriter. He grew up in Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York, and worked with Jean Schwartz on many songs and shows in the 1900s and early 1910s.

His hits included "Chinatown My Chinatown" (with Schwartz), "Old King Tut", and "Where The Green Grass Grows" with Harry Von Tilzer, and "Get Out and Get Under The Moon" with Charles Tobias.

He was an early member and one of the first directors of the American Society of Authors, Composers and Publishers (ASCAP).
