Woodford is a place in north east London, England on the edge of Epping Forest in the London Borough of Redbridge. Woodford is divided into three areas; South Woodford, Woodford Green and Woodford Bridge which gets its name from the old bridge over the River Roding. Woodford is also divided into two postal districts, london postal district E18 (South) Woodford and the Outer London IG8 Woodford Green, Essex postal district.
The parliamentary constituency of Chingford and Woodford Green is represented by Conservative M.P. Iain Duncan Smith, who led the Conservative Party from 2001 - 2003.
